What Is a Working Days Calculator?
A working days calculator helps you determine how many business or working days fall between two dates. Unlike a simple date difference calculation, it can exclude your selected weekly days off and additional holiday dates.

How to Use the Working Days Calculator
- Select the Start Date.
- Select the End Date.
- Choose whether your weekly day off is Friday only or Friday and Saturday.
- Optionally add holidays that should not count as working days.
- Click Calculate Working Days.
The result shows the total calendar days, working days, weekly days off and excluded holidays.
How Are Working Days Calculated?
The calculator examines every date from the start date through the end date. Each date is checked to determine whether it is a weekly day off or an added holiday.
A holiday that already falls on a weekly day off is not counted twice. It remains a weekly day off rather than becoming an additional excluded holiday.

Start date: January 1
End date: January 10
Weekly days off: Friday and Saturday
Additional holiday: January 5
The calculator checks every date in the range, removes the selected weekly days off, and then removes the additional holiday if it is a working day.
